Terms and Conditions

• Ekub.live is a digital platform that automates and facilitates the traditional Ethiopian Ekub (እቁብ) system.
• This platform operates strictly as a community-based, rotating savings and allocation system rooted in traditional Ethiopian custom. It is not a public lottery, financial institution, or formal banking service.
• Participation is voluntary, and allocations are determined through an automated, transparent random draw (ዕጣ) system among the active participants of a specific round.

• To participate, users must register an account and join an available "Ekub Round."
• Unlike traditional daily or weekly ekubs, users pay a single, fixed contribution per round to qualify for that specific round's draw.
• A round officially begins and the draw takes place only after the required number of participants have fully joined and completed their contributions for that round.

• Once a user wins a draw in a round, they receive the pooled funds (minus any applicable platform administrative fees).
• The Re-participation Rule: To ensure fairness to all members of the community, winners and non-winners alike are expected to continue participating in subsequent rounds to keep the cycle moving until every member has had an equal opportunity to benefit over time.

• The Continuous Commitment Rule: The integrity of an Ekub relies entirely on the commitment of every participant. If a user decides to stop participating or fails to contribute to a consecutive round in the middle of a cycle, all previous contributions made in earlier rounds are strictly forfeited and disqualified.
• Disqualified funds will not be refunded, as they have already been distributed to previous winners within the closed cycles of those rounds.
• By joining, you explicitly agree that stopping participation midway waives your right to claim any previous payments.

• Ekub.live acts solely as a digital facilitator, administrator, and technology provider for this peer-to-peer traditional system.
• While the platform utilizes automated draws to ensure absolute transparency and fairness, the platform owners, developers, and affiliates are not liable for any user-end network issues, unauthorized account access, or external electronic payment delays.
• In accordance with the customary recognition of Ekub groups under Ethiopian civil traditions, participants acknowledge that the pooled funds belong to the collective round participants, and the platform owner is held harmless against individual financial disputes between users.

Any misunderstandings, disputes, or complaints regarding draws or contributions will be handled internally by the Ekub.live support team, guided by the strict logic of the platform rules and the traditional principles of fairness inherent to Ethiopian Ekub culture.
